 Summer is approaching and it’s time to get ready !
Fashion throughout the world is been showing us very  loose styles , from relaxed waves to undone easy to wear hair…. Here are a few  hot tips to recreate  your summer look.
Products….. sea sprays,pomades, mousse, light gels
Tools…………flat iron ,curling iron ,blow dryer
Steps…………power dry your hair, toss hair up side down and dry 100 %
With flat or curling iron curl some of the hair picking random stands
For finishing, toss  hair upside down and scrunch with a little bit of mouse or sea spray .Toss it back shake and with fingers lightly  smooth  down…
The main secret HAVE FUN…..

Quick tips for after salon visit care…

To make sure your hair always looks great this is what I recommend:-

Always remember to use product before blowdrying. The product will help protect your hair from the heat and will help polish and give shine for healthier looking hair.

Also, remember that deep conditioning treatments will help put back some of the moisture and proteins we lose when blowdrying.

On another note, I want to touch on the importance of using the right size of a round brush. A large brush will give you straight,softer look and a small brush will get you more volume,body,bounce and sexy looking hair.

We were so honored to attend the party for the bands on the No 1 soundtrack for Twilight, New Moon.  Check out the hair and make up for the Premier at www.starrhouse.com events!

We have regular classes at Starr house to stay updated both in product knowledge and cutting and styling techniques.  Today was a Japanese technique of cutting hair dry!  The models were shampooed and had a deep conditioning treatment.  The class was hands on.  The hair was blowdried then straightened with an iron, then the cutting began.. Boggart, wow, he was on his knees cutting at one point, he had the class both entranced and amused ! What a great experience both listening and learning!

Our wonderful class hosted by Mike from LA Shear and taught by the one and only Boggart!  This guy rocks!!! It was both eduational and most importantly FUN!

Thanks guys, the class was great!  We feel honored to have been taught this great technique!   Come back again soon!

GMA together with Macys and Feed America are running a campaign hosting dinner parties to feed the people of America.

Here at Starr House, we are raising our bucks a different way!  It is common for us to order in food for lunch.  Instead, during this time, we will bring our lunches to work and donate the money we would have spent otherwise.  In addition, we will pledge some of our tips too.  We ask our clients and friends if you have spare change, throw it in the cannister on the counter before you leave… for every $10 we raise 70 meals will be give, isn’t that amazing!!!!
